If you love cider and fruit wines, you’ve come to the right place! Here at Ugly Apple, we challenge you to explore traditional Spanish-styled ciders and fruit wines made and served the way they should be – fermented on the lees, and served cold, using the Spanish long pour.
Not sure what the long pour is? No problem, ask us and we’ll be happy to tell you all about why carbonated ciders aren’t real cider at all (ask the real cider makers in Spain and they’ll tell you all about it) and what makes our cider taste good enough to win awards from the largest cider competition in the world.
Do we have your interest? Good! Read more about our story, our ciders, and our wines, here. Want to give our ciders and wines a try? Check us out at the Carp Farmers’ Market and Perth Farmers’ Market, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., May to Thanksgiving. We’re located roughly an hour from the City of Ottawa, 30 minutes from Almonte and 20 minutes from Perth.
